Read and follow class expectations and procedures as written in the class syllabus
Practice communicating to everyone in a respectful manner
Use class time to work, practice, ask questions and share knowledge
Use Google Classroom as the central location for tracking work and communications which includes
Turning in files and links to Google Classroom; or marking work done if no file or link is required
Reviewing teacher feedback and be prepared to respond back
Read class announcements, resource files and links
Uphold school and class policies and procedures
Be available during class to answer questions, provide feedback and support
Practice communicating to everyone in a respectful manner
Reply to messages sent during the school week within 24 hours
Messages sent during weekends, IC holidays, and personal time off may be longer
Grade work that is turned in to Google Classroom and provide feedback as needed
Work will be graded according to the teacher's schedule - not on demand
Late and fixed work grading will not take priority over current work
Read the directions again and review any resources provided.

Most work scoring below 75% can be reattempted for improvement.
Revisions may not be allowed on incomplete attempts.
Feedback is given to help you plan. Be prepared to discuss what needs to be done with the teacher.
There is no revisions on quizzes or tests, (extenuating circumstances may be considered)
Work revisions will not be allowed during the final week of the course.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Revised work is not graded immediately. Current work takes priority over late and revised work. A new grade is posted to PowerSchool after the grade and teacher feedback is posted in Google Classroom. The highest score will be recorded.
Plagiarism is the act of claiming the ideas, writings, images and other multimedia of others as one’s own without crediting those sources.
Citations must be included when you are using somebody else's stuff
(Websites like Google are NOT sources you can cite. Google takes you to sources you can cite.)
Originality of work will be checked
Any work that is suspected to not be your original thoughts and ideas will be investigated
Any work that is plagiarized will receive a "0" and cannot be resubmitted
Subsequent plagiarism will result in further action
Group work is not considered a single student's work and is equally owned by the group
